Ayn Rand Quote of the Day

“Pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers  and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.”

  1. She missed a “nor!” Of course, this speculation or theory of Ms. Rand’s could be applied to illicit drug laws, “the war that can’t be won,” prostitution, “the oldest profession,” and pornography, “I may not be able to define it, but I know it when I see it!” This latter explanation comes from a former U.S.Associate Supreme Court Justice, who at one time was a bonafide member of the KKK (Hugo Black). Where are all the heros Rand purported to be in extand. Would she still say that were not one available she’d still see man as heroic?
